As a travel enthusiast, I always look for accommodation that provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I must say that this cozy cottage exceeded my expectations. Upon our arrival, we were met with a lovely ambiance that made us feel like we had stepped into a home away from home. the furnishings were tastefully chosen and the overall decor was inviting. In terms of facilities, the cottage had everything we needed for our group of four. the kitchen was well-equipped, but I do recommend adding more crockery if staying with a larger party. the ironing facilities came in handy, as did the heating during the chilly evenings. We also appreciated the convenience of having a washing machine available, especially after long hikes in the surrounding area. One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to the castle watermill gardens and cafe. It was a delight to be able to explore the gardens and enjoy a cup of coffee in such a picturesque setting. the location of the cottage was perfect for our hiking plans, with numerous trails starting right at our doorstep. In terms of dining facilities, we enjoyed taking advantage of the BBQ facilities in the garden area. It was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the countryside. the free parking was convenient for our rental car, and we were grateful that pets were allowed as we couldn't bear to leave our furry family member behind. Overall, our stay at this cottage provided a good balance of cost and luxury. the value proposition was evident in the well-maintained facilities and the prime location. As someone who appreciates a cozy and welcoming environment, this cottage was the perfect choice for our hiking getaway. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient accommodation option in the area.
